The University is nestled in a small suburb, Bukit Jalil, about 20 km south of the city of Kuala Lumpur, away from the hustle and bustle of hurried life. It is easy to locate and find, with great transport networks including the Light Rail Transit (LRT), e-hailing services and taxi.

Getting Around

Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Express Rail Link (ERL)

The University campus is conveniently located within a 5-minute walking distance to the Sri Petaling Light Rail Transit (LRT) station, which connects to the rest of the transportation networks around the city. You can also take the LRT and connect with the ERL to go to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, about 50km from Bukit Jalil.

As an IMU student, you are eligible to apply for student concessions when using the public transport such as the LRT.

e-Hailing services and Taxi

Travelling by e-hailing services and taxi are relatively cheap in Malaysia, especially if you are sharing a ride. You will not only save money by sharing a ride but also help to save the environment.
